Then and Now
I was looking through some old pictures tonight and found these two and I just have to share them!

The Past Week or So...
This weekend Blake and I were lucky enough to have the whole thing off together! That almost never happens so we were thrilled! Since the weather has been nice lately we decided to spend some time trying to clean up our new yard! The previous owner was nice enough to leave last falls leaves for us so we started there! It's coming along quite nicely! We love having our own yard!!
This weekend we celebrated Blake's cousin's birthdays! They are brothers who were born on the same day 9 years apart! Happy Birthday Sam and Ben!! It was so much fun to be able to spend time with family! I wish we could see them more!

What's New
I cannot believe how quickly the past few weeks have gone! We've already been in our house for 3 and a half weeks! I don't know where the time has gone! This past week my dad flew out from Oregon to visit! It was so great to have him here! He probably doesn't consider it as much of a vacation because of all of the things that I had for him to do around the new house! I am so grateful for all of his help! He helped us make our house a home more quickly :) Last weekend we had a bunch of friends and family over to bbq and it was so much fun! I failed greatly and didn't manage to get ANY pictures :( A few of our friend's came to visit from Springfield with their little boys and a bunch of Blake's family came and we had a great time! It was fun to show off our new house! We are falling in love with it more and more each day! So here are a few before and after pictures of our house!
It was so nice to have my dad here to visit! I wish I didn't have to work as much as I did while he was here, but we still had a great time!
So last week Blake and I decided that we wanted to look into adopting a puppy! We bought Chinook from a breeder so we said that if we were to get another dog we would adopt from a shelter. So we did some research and found a black lab mix named Zeus. He's 4 months old and adoooooorable! We did a meet and great with him and we fell in love, as did Chinook! So we decided to bring him home and I think he's here to stay! :)
And of course I always have to through in some pictures of Chinook because he's so photogenic! :)
